Inviting your colleagues
Admins invite their colleagues by email. Each person gets their own sign-in link: no account or password to create.
Invite someone
- Open “Settings › Members” (or “Invite my colleagues” in the welcome guide).
- Enter their name and email address, then click “Invite”.
- They receive a sign-in link and land straight in the office.
Already using PixelBureau with another team? They keep the same account: your space simply appears in their space selector.
Roles
An “Admin” invites and removes people, edits the map and manages the plan. A “Member” uses the space. Change a role or remove someone from “Members”: they leave the space right away and their desk is freed.
Assigned desks
Admins open “Desk assignment” in the “My profile” panel: the map darkens and each desk shows its occupant’s initials, or “free”. Assign, then “Publish”: the person is notified. Their desk shows up in search as “[name]’s desk”, so everyone knows where to find whom.
Invite someone from outside
- A client, a candidate, a contractor: in “Settings › Guests”, create a guest link, with no account and no paid seat.
- Enter the “Guest name”, choose the “Room”, then “Create the link”: the link is copied, ready to send however you like.
- The guest opens the link, enters “Your name”, goes through “Ready to join?” and lands straight in the room. They can’t go anywhere else, have no chat and no floor announcements, and members see them in “Here”, under “Guests”.
- The link is valid for 24 h. “Revoke” cuts it off right away: the guest leaves the space.
- For a meeting room, “Copy the meeting link” gives a link that leads straight there; guests who come through it are not counted in the 5.
The guest will see who is on the floor, not your conversations. 5 guests at most at the same time: revoke a link to create one.
More than 5 people
The Discovery plan is free for up to 5 members. To invite a sixth person, switch to the Team plan (see “Billing and seats”).
The owner
The person who created the space is its owner. Only they can transfer ownership, export the space’s data or delete the space, in “Settings › Owner”.
